The New Felted Baby, Part II

Here's the bag, inside out, showing the completed lining:

And here is the bag itself, with beading added:

A close-up of the beads:

I like the way the bag looks in natural light:

That bag is aMAZing! And the monkey fabric?! Be still my heart. I love it.

Your talent is awe inspiring.

I spent the weekend reading YARN BOMBING, The Art of Crochet And Knit Graffiti by Mandy Moore and Leanne Prain (which I now want to do). And COMPLETE CONTEMPORARY CRAFT, TEXTILES by Murdoch Books (20 bucks at the bargain shelf in Chapters) which has the most incredible knitting projects, including a lacy scarf/vest.

Thank you my dear!

I am going to have to check out those books, as I am not familiar with either.

I did go to Boulder today in search of stuff to make a lace shawl. I found two easy (easier, I should say) patterns. However, neither store had the weight of yarn I wanted, and I just wasted two hours knitting something that turned out too thin. Tore out the entire thing. Oh well, I'll just chalk it up to learning something new. I really do learn the most when I make huge mistakes.

Well, Einstein said anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new. So we're in good company because I make lots of them.

Hey, my word ver is "blubmqu" as in "just tear it out, start over and don't be such a blub monkey."
